Account Executive TransMedia - Video Games

Venor is proud to partner with Celtx in their search for an experienced Account Executive TransMedia - Video Games. Celtx Studios brings together creative teams and facilitates a full-spectrum collaboration experience for film, video and game production. They are looking for looking for an ambitious salesperson dedicated to sales of their Games & VR product selling into the transmedia industry.


From concept to vertical slice and into production, our one-of-a-kind Game & VR product supports story creation for the transmedia industry. Our tools help creative and development teams manage the complexity of branching narratives, in-game logic and digital assets. 


The Role


We’re looking for an ambitious salesperson for our growing sales team. You will be dedicated to sales of our Games & VR product selling into the transmedia industry. You will be supported by the full company - from Marketing to Customer Success to Development - we all work for the Sales Department. 


What will my main duties be? 


  • Conduct discovery meetings with potential clients to understand their workflow, roles, software tools used and technology gaps
  • Conduct live sales demos of Celtx to prospective customers
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing and other teams to identify new sales strategies. 
  • Stay current with product features and updates
  • Manage existing and create new customer acquisition and growth strategies while monitoring performance, and
  • Maintaining knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities.


What is Celtx looking for? 


We’re looking for someone with the passion to make a difference. Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive right in. Someone who is collaborative, enjoys a team atmosphere and who isn’t afraid to have fun while being successful. 


You have at least 5 years of experience/exposure with the creative & production aspects of video games (AR/VR/XR an asset), have successfully sold to and have existing relationships with AA/AAA+ game studios. In addition, you have the ability to discuss and articulate high-level B2B sales strategies and a proven track record of delivering results using a collaborative approach with your clients.  


You should be comfortable working with software tools like Gsuite and Salesforce. A degree or diploma in a related field are considered as assets.


Work Location


We're a crew of software developers and media creators located in the far east of the western world (Newfoundland & Labrador) and would welcome local candidates but are open to having the right individual working remotely in Canada.
