About The Role

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada. 


As a Brand Designer, you will lead the conceptualization and execution of compelling visual design across various mediums. The ideal candidate is a highly creative individual with a proven track record of producing high-quality design work with a focus on brand development and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging solutions.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conceptualize and Design: Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of innovative and visually stunning solutions.
  • Create and execute design concepts for a range of marketing materials, including digital and print collateral, social media assets, presentations, emails, webpages and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines.
  • Uphold and enforce brand standards consistently across all design materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand project objectives and contribute to a cohesive brand narrative.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the team's creative capabilities.


Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in brand design and/or marketing, preferably in the fintech industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in design, marketing, or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates experience in brand application, motion graphics and art direction
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and an email building tool (we use Stripo)


At KOHO, we are dedicated to providing pay transparency to all candidates. Compensation at KOHO is determined through various factors including but not limited to: comparable salary market data within Canada, technical skill assessment, a holistic view of previous work history, and internal pay equity with other KOHO team members.


Target Base Salary Range

$85,000—$115,000 CAD
