The primary purpose of the Engineering Branch is to provide a safe, forest road network which balances industrial, commercial and public use in a cost-effective manner reflecting the level of use and available funding while minimizing impacts to the environment.
The Business Application Manager leads the development and implementation of the policies, standards and models for resource road database controlled by the Branch, which supports the operational and strategic business decisions made by the Ministry and used by other ministries, agencies and industry partners. This role provides technical expertise and advice to all regional, district and headquarters staff and also acts as designated representative of the data custodian for the corporate database governed by the Branch.

Qualifications for this role include:
- Degree or diploma in Business or Public Administration, Computer Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in at least three areas, including: resource road administration, data administration, application support, data operations management or data service delivery management.
