With 2022 already proving to be one of our best years ever, we're looking for a Controller to join our team and help us scale!

Who You Are:

An accounting wizard who is looking to build! You have a deep understanding of accounting best practices, with a knack for creating processes that maximize efficiency and streamline the flow of financial information. As our first ever Controller, you’ll report to our Director of Finance and Operations and partner with them to manage all aspects of our accounting function! 


What you'll be doing:

  • Compile and analyze financial reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis  
  • Manage A/R and A/P processes  
  • Manage all treasury functions, including payroll, expense management, etc.  
  • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures 
  • Assist with annual company reviews, and third-party audits and inquiries 
  • Assist with financial operations projects (ex. migration of current system to Quickbooks Online)  


What we’re looking for: 

  • 5 to 7 years' experience in a corporate finance or accounting role  
  • Accounting designation (CPA or CA) 
  • Experience working with accounting software (ex. Quickbooks) and demonstrated proficiency with Excel 
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, specifically senior management, and communicate effectively in a cross-functional capacity 
  • High attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends, anomalies, and problems  
  • High degree of organization, with the ability to manage time appropriately within a deadline-driven environment  
  • Adaptable, with a willingness to shift direction when needed and ability to prioritize accordingly 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion in interactions and dealings with others 
  • Dedicated to fostering a positive environment geared towards encouraging and supporting all internal and external stakeholders
