$80,652.20 - $91,992.70 annually plus 9.9% TMA

The Government Digital Experience Division (GDX) works to help government understand the informational needs of British Columbians, and to help British Columbians find and access the services they need from government. GDX supports people-focused policy development and great service experiences.

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a fully automated DevOps development and production environment including automated code migration, and testing processes and tools for effective iterative software development.


Qualifications for this role include:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Dev Ops Specialist.
  • Experience with container platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Openshift, and related technologies such as Docker, Docker-Compose, Podman or equivalent.
  • Experience with API development and implementing continuous integration and deployment technologies, like GitHub Actions, Tekton, ArgoCD or equivalent.
