As the Email Operations Manager at PocketHealth, your grit and technical expertise will help empower millions of patients to discover a better healthcare experience.
We’re looking for a technical, analytical, and disciplined candidate to help centralize and operationalize our patient-facing email communications. As part of this role, the successful candidate will report into our Growth Marketing team and work very closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure the highest email compliance, deliverability, and effectiveness.
We’re looking for an individual with experience working in direct-to-consumer products, with 4+ years of experience managing the technical elements of a high-volume email marketing function. Bonus points if you’ve worked in a highly regulated environment.
As the Email Operations Manager you will:
- Operationalize our patient communications strategy with user segmentation, campaign/workflow development, QA, monitoring, and reporting and analytics
- Build high-converting email templates using HTML and CSS that reflect our brand guidelines
- Offer strategic guidance to our Lifecycle Marketing team based on your observed trends in email performance
- Work with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the technical implementation of our email marketing programs are always compliant with the best and newest industry standards/guidelines
- Continuously monitor our email performance metrics and give guidance to our teams on ongoing improvements
- Act as the central owner for all email comms, sitting between Marketing, Product, and Engineering
You have experience with:
- Domain and IP health monitoring
- Monitoring email deliverability, unsubscribe rates, spam rates, and bounces
- Email authentication (including SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Building email templates using HTML and CSS
- Marketing automation software focused on DTC (we use CustomerIO)
- User segmentation
- Product analytics (we use Amplitude) and event tracking
