Reporting to the Chief Architect, a career in Enterprise Architecture, within our Products & Technology organization, will provide you with the opportunity to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within PwC, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue. As an Enterprise Business Architect, you will strategize and design solutions helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.



Purpose-led work you’ll be part of 

 

As an Enterprise Business Architect, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Enterprise Business Architecture (80%)

  • The Enterprise Business Architect will actively support the implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and compliance management of the Business Domain of PwC’s Enterprise Architecture
  • Identify and maintain Business Capability model and align it with digital products portfolio
  • Interpret and contextualize strategy for operational needs, develops specific artifacts such as business capability maps and value streams to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, and help streamline and rationalize the IT enablement process
  • The Enterprise Business Architect will develop, collaborate or contribute to the creation and maintenance of Operating and business model, Business ecosystem, Enterprise Business Capability Maps, Value Streams, Business Entities, Organization Mapping, Systems/Application Mapping, Capability-based Roadmaps, Function/System Footprint Analysis 
  • The Enterprise Business Architect will proactively assist the Enterprise Architects and the Chief Architect in assessing business capabilities
  • Design services within the organization
  • Collect and/or clarify existing business requirements

 

Continuous Improvement (20%)

  • The Enterprise Business Architect will be actively involved in planned or unplanned business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand
  • Continue to grow personal skills in alignment with the Company and team Strategy


Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • TOGAF certifications required
  • Business Architecture Certification highly preferred
  • Experience working in business architecture
  • Actively support the implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and compliance management of the Business Domain of PwC’s Enterprise Architecture
  • Identify and maintain Business Capability model and align it with digital products portfolio

  • Develop, collaborate or contribute to the creation and maintenance of Operating and business model, Business ecosystem, Enterprise Business Capability Maps, Value Streams, Business Entities, Organization Mapping, Systems/Application Mapping, Capability-based Roadmaps, Function/System Footprint Analysis
  • Define, establish and run TOGAF-based processes for Business Domain architecture
  • Service-oriented, event-driven and microservices architectures; 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
