ETL Architect


The ETL Architect drives and determines the integration architecture necessary for the team to develop and implement large complex projects. They are responsible for improving the ETL technical infrastructure, maintaining development tools, documenting processes, and creating development standards.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identifying, recommending, and implementing integration process and architectural improvements
  • Developing solutions in a highly demanding environment
  • Working with team members, peers, and management to identify objectives and set priorities
  • Working directly with customers to gather requirements on new data integration services, assist in translating those requirements into actionable deliverables
  • Creating and maintaining document repository of mappings and processes
  • Ability to function at both the Architect and Developer level, joining and working alongside other developers as needed


Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related program
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience as an ETL developer or architect
  • (Preferred) 3-year experience using Dell Boomi Atomsphere in development and support projects(Preferred) Experience with Boomi deployment within a private cloud
  • (Preferred) Experience with ETL capability as a product offering
  • Strong experience building Boomi processes, leveraging common frameworks such as message queuing, caching, complex mapping and scripting
  • Ability to guide the team in design and development activities
  • Knowledge of Boomi design and ETL best practices
  • Experienced with various data pipeline design patterns
  • Strong or advanced SQL skills

Salary: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year plus Benefits
