The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing B2B events, trade shows, and seminars, along with expertise in social media promotion, lead management, and webinar management. This individual should be a well-rounded marketing professional with at least 2 years of experience in event management.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute B2B events, including trade shows, seminars, partner events, and webinars, from conception to completion.
  • Develop event marketing strategies to promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV equipment, and signage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment of event objectives with overall business goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event partners, sponsors, and exhibitors to maximize participation and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Implement lead management processes to capture, track, and nurture leads generated from events, ensuring seamless integration with the sales funnel.
  • Analyze event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, and ROI, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management and marketing.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience working in a fast paced startup or scale up environment
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful B2B events, trade shows, and seminars.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing software, CRM systems, and webinar platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality, impactful events.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
