Full Stack Developer
Our vibrant company is looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack Developer to join our highly motivated and talented Engineering team to be a part of our early-stage startup in Calgary, AB. Propra is a suite of property management tools that improves efficiency, communication, and cost-savings while elevating the resident and landlord experience.
At Propra, engineering is not an afterthought. We believe in code that is simple and elegant while performant and reusable. We have some exciting and difficult challenges ahead of us but we favour quality over quantity. That’s why we take time to review every piece of code that gets merged. But that doesn’t mean we don’t move fast and your work will be instrumental in moving the company forward.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and make a lasting impact as an early member of the Engineering team. Our tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Node, Terraform, AWS Lambda, and React Native but you don’t need to be an expert in all of those technologies to join us, as long as you are willing and motivated to learn.
We are committed to a hybrid work style but, whenever you stop by you'll get to enjoy some of the best of downtown Calgary from our East Village office. Take a break and enjoy a scenic walk down the Bow River.
Who we're looking for:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in a web development or infrastructure position
- Knowledge of our tech stack or similar technologies (TypeScript, React, Node, Terraform, AWS Lambda and React Native)
- Ability to autonomously scope and solve difficult technical challenges while writing high-quality code
- Drive to both learn from and mentor others
- Experience at a fast-growing organization or a startup is a plus
- Passionate and happy :)
- Excellent communication skill
