Information Security Analyst

$66,557.72 - $75,884.38 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

 

Natural Resource Information & Digital Services (NRIDS) is leading the modernization and transformation of business practices for the Natural Resource Ministries through continuous improvement projects, new technology options and operational information management/information technology (IM/IT). NRIDS is providing leadership for IM/IT planning, policy and business process solutions and is also the single authority for all information and technology.

 

As the Information Security Analyst your primary responsibility is conducting security threat and risk assessments. Experienced in identifying and evaluating risks from a business and technological standpoint, you will lead the development of policies and standards for security information systems and provide security architecture planning. Qualifications for this role include:


  • University degree in computer science/information technology or another field, and a minimum of 6 months information security experience, OR
  • A Diploma in computer science/information technology or another field, and a minimum of 1 year information security experience.
  • Experience in identifying and evaluating risks from a business and technological standpoint.
