Integrations Senior Programmer Analyst

$75,552.53 - $86,175.83 annually plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment


The Information Systems Branch is responsible for providing strategic IM/IT leadership for the Justice and Public Safety Sector, and for the provision of IM/IT services to support our sector program areas and stakeholders. The branch includes six divisions: Strategic Planning and Digital Transformation, MCIO/ADM, Client Services, Program and Portfolio Management, Service Design and Architecture, Chief Technology Office.

The Integrations Senior Programmer Analyst will be working with a new team of Integration Service Specialists and will report to the Integrations Senior Software Specialist. The team is responsible for providing integration services development (code writing), testing, deployment, and advisory services using agile methodologies and practices for the sectors many business units.

The Integrations Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for writing code for integrations  and responsible for coordinating application development in the application development lifecycle. This role is also involved in planning, designing, developing, testing, enhancing, and maintaining mission critical applications of significant complexity (multiple platforms, environments and technologies requiring integration of new and legacy systems), and cost. 

Qualifications for this role include:


  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
  • 1 year of experience in all the following:
  • Structured and object orientated programming in a complex rules based environment. 
  • Leading and participating in project teams including application developers, business area users and technical resources.
  • Broad number of application development tools.
  • Data modelling, process modelling, and/or business area analysis techniques.
