Intermediate Programmer Analyst

$66,557.72 - $75,884.38 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

The Intermediate Programmer Analyst provides technical expertise and advice in the design and development of new and/or enhanced custom applications. They are responsible for leading the technical implementation of custom applications and conducting technical quality assurance audits and post implementation reviews. They design, code, test and implement application fixes and updates, as well as document and support infrastructure related tools and utilities.


Qualifications for this role include:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, with a minimum two (2) years of *related experience; OR
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, with a minimum three (3) years of *related experience; OR
  • Certification(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, with a minimum four (4) years of *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

 

*Related experience must include ALL the following:

  • Experience with JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Svelte, Vue.js, or React.
  • Experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks and CSS pre-processors.
  • Experience with API and backend services development using languages such as Node, Rust and/or Python.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL Server, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with version control such as Git or SVN.
  • Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
