We’re looking for a highly motivated Intermediate QA Analyst to join our team - where you’ll work directly with our software developers to help evaluate the quality of our applications and backend infrastructure for our smart home products. With thousands of customers and connected devices interacting with our cloud service, the job will involve testing our mobile app, device firmware, and back-end AWS infrastructure.
What You Will Do:
- Work with software development, product management, and customer support teams to identify and analyze quality-related issues
- Explore and report on the behaviour and risk models of hardware and software applications
- Review device and/or customer data and compile detailed bug or incident reports
- Develop and execute risk-oriented test plans as part of the software update release cycle
- Guide developers and other team members in assisting with testing effort
- Actively build skills in software testing and incorporate them into the quality processes of the software teams
Who You Are:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of software testing experience
- Analytical thinker, with a creative mind, and an adaptable nature
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present solutions, while efficiently multi-tasking various priorities
- Ability to work well on your own, or as part of a team
