$69,185.43 - $78,814.47 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

British Columbia’s Natural Resource Ministries (NRM) are the stewards of the Province’s Crown land and natural resources which reflect the diverse values and interests of all British Columbians.

Natural Resource Information and Digital Services (NRIDS) is leading the modernization and transformation of business practices for the NRM through continuous improvement projects, new technology options and operational information management/information technology (IM/IT). NRIDS is providing leadership for IM/IT planning, policy and business process solutions and is also the single authority for all information and technology across the NRM.

The Intermediate Technical Analyst will plan and manage infrastructure technology solutions across multiple environments supporting IT Service Management (ITSM), including configuration, installation, and integration services. This role also promotes knowledge sharing and facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Degree, diploma or certification in the computer science field or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
• Recent experience (in the last 7 years) with management and administration of Windows Servers and/or UNIX/Linux servers.
• Recent experience (in the last 7 years) investigating and implementing complex IT integration projects while handling incident response or mitigating emergency situations in technical environments.
• Recent experience (in the last 7 years) in assessing customer requirements, developing, and implementing appropriate technical solutions.
