Intermediate Technical Analyst

This position is located in Victoria; however, other locations may be considered subject to ministry operational requirements. We offer flexible work arrangements, remote work is allowed, and this position can work up to full time from their home as per the telework agreement.

As the centralized authority for all information, geospatial data, and technology across the NRM, NRIDS is leading the transformation and modernization of business practices through new and innovative technology solutions, continuous improvement projects and operational IM/IT solutions.

The Intermediate Technical Analyst will plan and manage infrastructure technology solutions across multiple environments supporting IT Service Management including configuration, installation and integration services. To promote knowledge sharing and facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Degree, diploma or certification in computer science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
• Recent experience (in the last 5 years) with management and administration of Windows Servers and/or UNIX/Linux servers.
• Recent experience (in the last 5 years) investigating and implementing complex IT integration projects while handling incident response or mitigating emergency situations in technical environments.
• Recent experience (in the last 5 years) in assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing appropriate technical solutions.
