A CTECH IT Business Consultant is a modernized version of the traditional vCIO (virtual Chief Information Officer) role. You will utilizes our tailor-made auditing toolset to discover potential business solutions. The discovered business solutions are designed to increase our clients efficiency, enhance their competitiveness, and optimize their IT budget. You will become a strategic partner who understands our clients business needs and goals. Engaging with the technical team, you ensure the IT aligns with the desired business outcomes. 


Through your actions you, promote business value over IT cost, maintain high customer satisfaction, diplomatically resolve issues, and ensure client retention.


Your Responsibilities

  • Promote CTECH as a business partner by making client staff more efficient, business more competitive and effective through technology.
  • Build relationships with clients acting as trusted advisor .
  • Interview client stakeholders to discover business enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the CTECH technical team to build out solution proposals.
  • Present solutions to client decision makers.
  • Maintain positive customer satisfaction and resolve any issues diplomatically.
  • Perform structured regular business reviews per client. 
  • Record and manage client information, opportunities, and proposals in ConnectWise.
  • Participate in client invoice accuracy checks and assist in accounts receivable.
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of teamwork through working cooperatively and effectively with other internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Review service reports for accuracy.
  • Hold operations team accountable for maintaining service levels and project completion within budget and on schedule. 
  • Never have a client leave CTECH due to poor account management. 


Your skills 

  • 5+ years of experience as an technical account manager or vCIO.
  • Very comfortable talking about and learning new technology
  • Able to juggle many tasks effectively and maintain client expectations and deadlines.
  • Have a proven track record for building new IT value-based solutions to enhance a client’s business. 
  • A people person and an expert in the soft skills of communication and diplomacy.
  • Desire to meet with clients and find ways to improve their businesses through technology. 
  • Ability to host compelling presentations.
  • User level skills in a PSA such as ConnectWise: sales, project, service desk, support modules; Sell: building and presenting quotes; Automate: reporting and proactive monitoring modules. 
  •  Able to find revenue generating solutions based on clients’ IT needs. 
  • Fully embrace and promote the modern workplace to clients. 
  • Able to work from home and drive onsite to clients whenever needed.
  • Not satisfied with the status quo, always looking at improving your skillset and practice.

Salary:

  • Base: $70,000/year
  • Commission and Client retention bonuses (est. $15,000 to $20,0000/year)
