Lead, Modernization Advisory Services

$80,800.00 - $114,400.02 annually

This position is part of the newly formed Modernization Advisory Services team, which supports program areas across government to adopt modern, digital ways of working. We provide custom advice, mentorship, and research insights to enable creation and sustainment of cross-functional continuous service improvement teams. The priority teams we focus on are considered Exchange Lab Residents. 


This role is responsible for the program design and implementation of the Exchange Lab Residency experience. This Advisory Lead upholds the team’s focus on delivering the high value, high quality advisory services, aligned with the overall vision of modernizing how the B.C. government delivers services to people.  


In addition to managing your team’s backlog, with insights from user research, you will be responsible for supporting the development and professional growth of people on your team.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Related Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline, public administration, digital governance and/or human-centred design. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • One or more years of experience consulting organization(s) to achieve outcomes that impact service delivery and related digital products.
  • Three or more years of experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to iteratively create and improve products and services.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a customer service environment.
