Marketing Specialist

In January 2020, climate change visionary and entrepreneur Laura Zizzo and successful technology entrepreneur Jeremy Greven joined forces. Together, they launched Manifest with a vision to create the world's most intelligent climate change for business platform. As a result, Manifest Climate was created, a software platform to help companies navigate climate change risks and opportunities. Featuring AI, advanced analytics, climate science, industry best practices, and much more, the platform allows companies to build climate confidence. It provides a clear and straightforward way to understand, assess, govern, and disclose climate-related risks and creates greater transparency for stakeholders. In February 2021, Manifest completed a seed financing of $6.5 million with an exceptional syndicate of leading technology investors.

Who we need


We need a Marketing Specialist who wants to support the voice and the brand of a conscientious, high growth technology company that is making a difference. You will ensure an impactful, targeted social media presence and successful, engaging, and on-point prospect webinars. You will focus on lead generation and support cross-functional marketing activities, including content creation, brand awareness, CRM, market research, reporting, and more.

How you will make a difference: 



  • Own and drive our social media presence. You will create and execute on the social media calendar; examining analytics to determine the content that performs well. You will generate themes and draft on-brand posts that attract and engage our client and prospect based. 
  • Manage and optimize CRM. You will ensure the information entered into CRM is up-to-date and accurate. You will align information and find opportunities to improve, monitor, automate and optimize the information we collect and use.
  • End-to-end webinar coordination. You will collaborate across teams to determine hot topics and curate content based on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer/prospect insights. You will adopt the role of Project Manager overseeing every aspect of the technical production; content creation and brand alignment. 
  • Support sales enablement. You will help create and rollout activities targeting both customers and prospects, including but not limited to content development and optimization, advertising, social media, sales enablement tools, etc. You will help create, maintain, and distribute monthly marketing reports showing critical conversion metrics regarding lead generation, content creation, website traffic, etc.
  • Brand management support. You will collaborate with marketing and other teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts. You will help ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines. You will work with the Marketing Manager to support branding ideas, advertising copy, graphic designs, and promotional materials.

What you bring to our collaborative space:



  • The expertise. You have 1-2 years in marketing with a focus on lead generation. You know how to target an audience of customers and prospects, create brand awareness, position products successfully, and articulate value propositions to solve business needs. You have a proven track record managing competing priorities while maintaining an ability to execute on time, beyond expectations.
  • The technical tools. You have hands-on experience with:
  • A marketing automation platform or CRM tool.
  • Google Marketing tools (Analytics, Ads, etc.). Certification is an asset.
  • WordPress, or another website content management tool.
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • The strategy and creativity. Your written and verbal communication skills are outstanding. You have an eye for visually appealing layouts, from choosing graphics and fixing alignment. Your attention to detail is exceptional and you can identify when something is off brand. You have a voice you can adapt to suit a range of audiences, cultures, purposes, and channels. You can confidently create and deliver both short and long content. 
  • The accountability. You ask questions and you answer them too. You take ownership of your work, your tasks, your timelines. You can be counted on. And you speak up when you need assistance.
  • The dedication. You are purpose-driven with a desire to change the global trajectory when it comes to climate and deeply committed to our mission. You are genuinely excited to apply your talents in building our brand and expanding the list of clients we serve. New ideas and new technology interest you.
