Mobile Application Dev Ops Specialist

$72,724.97 - $83,014.85 annually plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment

The brand new Developer Experience Team within The Digital Office aims to make life easier for developers working in and with the province to modernize digital service delivery.


The Mobile Application Dev Op Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a fully automated DevOps environment including automated building, signing, and testing processes and tools for effective iterative mobile application software development.

Qualifications for this role include:


·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       Minimum three years' experience developing native and hybrid mobile applications, and maintaining software application lifecycles (XCode, Android Studio, React Native, etc.)

·       Minimum one year experience using GitHub Actions and similar continuous integration technologies.

·       Minimum one year experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for end-to-end delivery of mobile applications to both Google Play and Apple iTunes.

·       Minimum one year experience mentoring mobile teams for development best practices in an open-source environment, including application signing and releasing, and certificate and key management.
