Network Analyst

$66,557.72 - $75,884.38 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment

The Network Analyst is responsible for the provisioning of network services and the configuring and troubleshooting of enterprise network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.) to provide connectivity to government clients within the Network, Communications and Collaboration Services branch, OCIO. This role works within a team and with multiple outside vendors and internal expertise to ensure these services are installed and meet the client’s and OCIO’s technology requirements. The position will also be responsible for documenting any changes and communicating those to the group. Performing this work outside normal working hours may be requested occasionally (but not mandatory) to ensure client downtime is minimal.

Qualifications for this role include:

·        Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

·        Minimum of 1 year experience in an enterprise network environment.

·        Experience in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting data networks.

·        Experience in providing IT troubleshooting support for data network related issues.

·        Experience in data network environments, problem resolution techniques and approaches.

·        Experience in resolving a variety of simultaneous problems in different computing environments.
