People Operations Specialist

The Opportunity: People Operations Specialist

You will work closely with the team to help support our growth, policy, culture, and strategy. You will play a key role in coordinating employee onboarding, talent management, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, and career development across our global organization.

Things You'll Be Working On:

  • Coordinating and facilitating the on-boarding and new hire orientation program to ensure we are providing new hires with the right tools to be effective in their new role
  • Supporting talent acquisition initiatives including full-cycle recruiting, offer letter creation and brand awareness
  • Supporting and managing the payroll function in partnership with our Finance team
  • Managing our co-op program by partnering with universities and internal Tasktop teams
  • Administering our global benefit programs and answering employee inquiries
  • Driving new initiatives that support employee engagement including Wellness and Volunteer programs
  • Administering employee training and development programs
  • Working within the People Operations team to develop and implement HR strategic programs
  • Gathering data and compiling HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of our HR programs
  • Updating and maintaining the HRIS and all HR documents

 

Great Candidates Have:

  • 2+ years of Human Resources’ experience
  • Knowledge of HR standards, legislation and best practices
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Appropriate and authentic interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional judgement when dealing with employee issues
  • Adaptable and flexible with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly interactive / energetic team environment 
  • Experience working in the high-tech industry
