Uken Games is looking for a Product Analytics Lead to drive the studio’s processes and initiatives for data collection, analysis and integrity across all titles in order to achieve actionable insights.. The Product Analytics Lead will be part of the leadership team responsible for overall business performance as it pertains to how data is used to improve our games. This role will lead a team of highly skilled Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
You’ll be working on meaningful things like:
- Discovering actionable insights that allow the product teams to improve the game for our players
- Creating self-serve products that allow Product Managers and Game Designers to iterate on complex features and monitor the game for all player segments
- Improving and standardizing processes, including statistical techniques to enhance data analysis
- Evaluating and implementing Machine Learning to create personalized game experiences for our players
- Collaborating with the Leadership team as well as leads from Engineering, Marketing and other partners on developing and improving data best practices
- Guiding, mentoring and developing a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists
- Mentor and define best practices for the entire product team to work with data efficiently
Your background should include:
- At least 5 years experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, ideally in the games industry
- Strong analytics foundation - fluent in SQL, statistics, dashboard creation, and management
- Proven proficiency in scripting languages for statistical analysis, preferably Python
- Experience with implementing large ML projects in production environments
- Experience leading teams, guiding and coaching Data Analysts/Scientists for success
- Outstanding written/oral, organizational and time management skills
- A passion for games, up to date on tech and trends in the games industry
- BA/BS degree with a data science or math focus, Masters or PhD is an asset
