Sales Development Representative

Who you are: 

Hungry. Sharp. Driven. Someone who understands the importance of details and has impeccable communications skills. You care passionately about what you do and are always striving for that extra edge through coaching and continuous learning. Ideally you have prior experience prospecting into large accounts and speaking with senior IT executives, although we're always happy to connect with those demonstrating the right mix of attitude, initiative and coachability early in their sales career.

 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel sales pipeline
  • Leverage cutting edge sales techniques and methodology to uncover business challenges
  • Be a KPI champion by driving required activity set out by management
  • Build and maintain our CRM with accurate and meticulous note taking
  • Utilize best-in-class technology and tools to drive process consistency and excellence
  • Execute within a hybrid work environment involving both remote and in-office from our downtown office nestled between beautiful Coal Harbour and bustling Robson St
  • Be a culture champion of positivity built on collaboration, camaraderie and teamwork
  • Being a catalyst in our mission to build and dominate the VSM space!

 

 

Additional factors making a great fit: 

  • You are a great communicator. Whether it’s on the phone, via email, or on social, you know how to capture someone’s attention
  • You define operational excellence. You know that scaling requires excellent time management skills and a consistent process and follow-through
  • You are a lifelong student of Account-Based prospecting. You know how to build account-based plans and engage with multiple personas at your account.
  • You like to win. You never give up and thrive on decoding a prospect’s pain through effective discovery to show them the importance of taking next steps with you
  • You ideally have 1-2 years experience in enterprise SaaS sales development (companies > $5B in revenues), bonus if your experience is in IT / Technology
  • You are well-versed in sales and marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach/SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, Marketo)
  • You’re a critical thinker and love a fast-paced environment. You also like to have fun, think big, and take chances
