Senior Business Analyst

Remote Vancouver, BC

Are you excited by new digital retail tech and amazing online experiences? As a Senior Business Analyst, you will become an expert in business operations, sharing valuable inputs to your agile team while providing exceptional change leadership and creative solutions to problems.


In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.


Bring your experience implementing new cloud systems to our team as a Senior Business Analyst.


What you’ll do:

  • Capture business requirements and technical details from multiple stakeholders for RFP, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Document business processes using flow diagrams and use cases
  • Analyze capabilities of business systems and leverage them to meet business needs
  • Perform data analysis to identify patterns and prepare metrics
  • Support configuration of functional workflows in new business systems
  • Assess change impact of new systems and tools has on customers and business teams
  • Facilitate change impact discussions with stakeholders to promote transparency on benefits and risks
  • Align business requests with the volume of change impacted business teams can manage
  • Test new features for alignment with business processes and surface gaps
  • Gather end-user feedback on new features identifying deficiencies and potential improvements
  • Run UAT and train the trainer sessions to support roll-out of new tech
  • Produce SOPs, FAQs, and job aids where needed to help business adapt to new operations


What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years’ experience as Business Analyst
  • 5+ years’ experience using Change Management techniques
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • IIBA certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
