Senior DevOps Developer

As a Senior SRE/DevOps Developer, you will be leading the DevOps culture at Trolley while fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring continuous improvement, and automating (almost) everything. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with all the relevant functions to continuously evolve CI/CD solutions, and scale the organization's infrastructure while strengthening its security posture and regulatory compliance.


In your role you will:

  • Coordinate day-to-day DevOps operations, ensure efficient workflow and facilitate resolution of blocking issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure highly available, reliable, performant, secure and scalable production systems.
  • Drive root cause analysis and follow-up improvements to prevent issues from reoccurring.
  • Provide DevOps thought leadership and mentoring in both advisory and delivery contexts, focusing on the organization's needs and continuously contributing to the growth and evolution of the DevOps practice.


About you:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or Software Reliability Engineering role in a cloud-based environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS and hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps culture, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience architecting, maintaining and optimizing cloud CI/CD workflows using CircleCI.
  • Experience with observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Experience with provisioning infrastructure through IAC (ideally Terraform) and cloud automation/security principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess alternatives, risks and benefits while focusing on attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Experience working within an Agile SDLC.
