Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Remote (Canada) Toronto, ON

GoBolt is hiring a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to help oversee our overall marketing activities. This role is focused on acquiring new customers through the development and execution of marketing programs that drive demand for GoBolt’s products and services, while simultaneously playing a leading role in defining our brand's positioning and overall voice.


We’re looking for a marketing generalist that can operate in any given domain of marketing, while drawing on the skills and insights from singular areas of expertise as needed. This person will manage a small team and will be responsible for building it out with marketing domain specialists over time.


What you’ll do:

  • Own the performance of paid programs (optimizing keyword/campaigns mix, bidding strategy, landing page testing, etc) to help achieve Marketing and Sales targets
  • Monitor and report on the performance of paid programs to ensure efficient budget spending. Use insights to inform optimization opportunities and justify strategy changes
  • Develop product positioning that differentiates GoBolt’s products and services and create go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product releases
  • Own and optimize the GoBolt ICP and prospect/Merchant data management to support campaigns and Merchant communications
  • Partner with Sales and Post-Sales to build integrated outbound campaign strategies and optimize collateral for Sales and Post Sales teams to leverage
  • Manage GoBolt’s sponsorship of and presence at targeted industry events
  • Uncover successful Merchant stories and work cross functionally to bring these stories to life in compelling ways
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on ecommerce and logistics trends
  • Collaborate with GoBolt’s media and communications agencies to grow our voice and provide strategic guidance
  • Manage GoBolt’s sustainability and carbon offset partnerships 
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary


What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working in paid search and paid social platforms
  • Experience in B2B marketing and with managing sizable annual marketing budgets
  • Experience with content creation, competitive positioning, product launch planning, industry research and go-to-market strategy
  • Clear and concise communicator. You can write compelling ad/landing page copy (or drafts) and present on program performance succinctly
  • CRM/marketing automation background, preferably Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Proactive self-starter, demonstrating initiative and critical thinking
  • Proven ability to think strategically and move quickly, but with exceptional attention to detail
  • Expertise in creating compelling positioning, messaging and thought leadership content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, including Content, Legal, and Product teams
  • Passion for becoming an expert on Merchants and educating others on the Merchant’s perspective
  • Experience with PR and managing media relations
  • Experience or working knowledge in supply chain is a plus, but not required
