Senior Hardware Designer

You will:

• Be responsible for the design of digital products for 5G development

• Work with many different cross functional teams to produce high quality and reliable products for Dell

• Take ownership and lead the design of new products that are assigned to you

• Become a Mentor for Junior Hardware Designers

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of hardware product development processes

• In depth knowledge in creating the electrical requirements from the PRD (Product Requirement Document), creating block diagrams, schematic capture, and layout for the various products. Experience with Cadence CAD tools is beneficial

• Understanding of industry standard interfaces including high speed interfaces (SerDes, 10/25GHz Ethernet, PCIe Gen3/4/5) and the SI challenges of these interfaces

• Hands on lab experience, in depth knowledge of test equipment and its use, an excellent understanding of Design Verification Testing

Desirable Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Power design including PDN analysis
