Who You Are:
- Experience building large-scale cloud data platforms
- Experience working with Kafka
- Proficiency in Scala or Java, and experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience running production services in AWS
- A self starter with the ability to work effectively in teams with excellent spoken / written communication
- Smart, humble, and empathetic
- Have a strong sense of teamwork and put the team’s and company’s interests first
- Driven and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative software startup-like environment
What gives you an edge:
- Experience using Kafka Streams and Akka
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, GraphQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
