Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Our Product Development organization is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead, inspire, unblock, and optimize the delivery of a development team. If you are someone who has managerial experience, great people skills and has recent hands on technical experience to help their team find process issues and remove bottlenecks to make our development efforts more effective, we encourage you to apply.
Our teams focus on creating and extending our product features and the software development toolset that form the core of our Software Lifecycle and DevOps Integrations products. In this role you will:
·Mentor, coach, and help each team member to set career direction and grow. This is the most important function of the role.
·Lead an Agile team and help them evolve their approach and process to enable amazing results.
·Encourage and empower the team to take ownership of the product success
·Support and enable our continuous refinement of process, structure, and techniques to optimize testing infrastructure, continuous delivery, and progression to SaaS.
·Create and collaborate on tools that allow us to analyze software development
approaches using innovative data driven decision making.
·Manage Cloud operations on call team.
·Embrace significant autonomy within the parameters defined by an achievable product roadmap.

·Process and project management skills, including Agile: scrum, kanban, xp, etc.
·Significant past experience as a technical contributor.
·Significant experience with both on-premise and cloud-based solutions
·Experience standing up a Cloud solution and refining Cloud-native processes
Compensation

depend on your qualifications, expertise, and aptitude. This position is based in Tasktop's head office in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
