At Aural Analytics, we're developing tools to detect signs of neurological disorders--like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and concussion--from short speech tasks patients do on their phones. Our speech analytics help pick up subtle neurological changes not perceptible to the human ear.
Our engineering team is looking for an experienced iOS mobile engineer interested in honing their expertise and striving to improve patients outcome by using our technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and build features and functionality for the Aural Analytics iOS app and SDK
- Write quality code that adheres to Aural Analytics software development standards and best practices
- Work closely with the server and backend teams to collaborate on API design and ensure the app and SDK consume the API reliably and securely
- Work closely with the Product and Design teams to develop and implement new features
- Ensure SDK features are documented clearly for client consumption and that newly developed features have a clear upgrade path with minimal disruption
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working with the iOS platform
- Well-versed in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
- Experience writing comprehensive unit and functional tests
- Experience with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM
- Experience connecting to RESTful APIs using URLSession
- Experience with Apple's design principles and interface guidelines and how UI design and functionality impact user experience
- Familiarity with building and publishing iOS SDKs
- Good understanding of Git and distributed version control systems
- Be able to communicate the needs of software engineering clearly and effectively to other teams
