Currently, we are looking for a talented C# developer to join our team and help us develop innovative software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.

 

Location: Calgary NW. This is an in-office job. No remote. No Hybrid.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
  • Translate application requirements into functional and user-friendly applications.
  • Ensure applications meet the highest standards for performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs and bottlenecks in code.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem.

 

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a C# developer.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Experience with the .NET framework (ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core preferred)
  • Experience with source control systems (Git preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field is beneficial, but not required.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL Server) .
  • Familiarity with ESRI JSAPI development or other GIS development is a plus.
