As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for customizing, developing and supporting solutions on the Force.com platform. You will work closely with our technical team as well as our clients to deliver solutions that suit their organization best.

Skills
Tractionites come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from non-traditional backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of development experience developing on the salesforce.com platform; proficient in custom app development using Apex and Visualforce technologies
- Web development experience using Javascript, ideally with React, NodeJS or any other framework like Salesforce Lightning
- Experience working with Angular JS preferred
- Knowledge of and experience working with Vlocity would be considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues in laymen’s terms to customers
- Self-Motivated problem solver who loves getting their hands dirty debugging issues
- Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize what’s on your plate
What You Will Be Doing
- Build a variety of client-specific solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning
- Design custom solution components that meet client requirements
- Developing re-usable Apex applications for internal and customer use
- Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API and third-party integration tools
- Develop coding algorithms using a very structured, logical and object-oriented approach
- Data transformation and migration
- Mentor junior staff on coding best practices/standards
- Code review with colleagues
