This position is located in our downtown Vancouver branch. Here are some of the technical skills we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint (both on-premise and Online).
  • Experience in SharePoint migrations, from on-premise to on-premise, on-premise to SharePoint Online, and from other legacy platforms.
  • Extensive experience developing and modifying PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience working with Entity Framework, SQL, SPFx, and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET.
  • Strong consulting skills including strong problem solving, relationship building, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural aptitude for providing mentorship and coaching to team members.
  • A desire to continue learning and developing solutions using new leading-edge technologies.
  • Post-secondary education in a technology related field or equivalent experience.

The Role

As a Senior Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
  • Assisting in designing server farms and topologies, corporate Information Architectures, SharePoint Governance models, and SharePoint security and authentication models, and implement these solutions.
  • Writing and executing scripts to complement out of the box migration tools, such as ShareGate and Proventeq.
  • Integrating line of business systems with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, the Power Platform, and other technologies.
  • Acting as an escalation point for technical issues related to SharePoint projects.
  • Executing project plans to meet deliverable expectations on time and on budget.
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to other team members.
  • Actively supporting Elantis culture.
