The opportunity

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect to play a critical role bringing expertise to take on the challenges of strategically planning and implementing eCommerce infrastructure and application solutions. You will be a crucial player, leader, and agent of change as you architect and guide the build and support of a Azure Cloud based global eCommerce platform.

What you will do

  • Be a technical leader. You will design solution architectures that effectively address both functional and non-functional requirements, clearly articulating complex technical solutions to key business stakeholders. You will foster relationships across teams and become a trusted advisor. You will support the technical aspects of project delivery, including planning, estimating, quality, change and risk management, adapting to internal changes in requirements and external changes in the technology landscape.
  • Guide decisions. You will contribute to the technical solutions roadmap, driving the selection of services, technologies, development of standards and reference architectures, ensuring solutions are integrated, secure, resilient and adhere to stated architectural and design principles and standards. You will provide technical design and leadership, including documenting and diagramming solution architectures. 
  • Drive continuous improvement. You will investigate issues thoroughly and create practical solutions. You will identify ways to improve processes and efficiency, establishing and driving best practices and procedures in architecture.


What you bring:

  • Experience. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex omnichannel commerce solutions, focused predominantly on SAP Cloud Commerce. You can strategically anticipate business needs, drawing on past experiences to plan responsive solution architecture requirements. You can estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives. You have technical expertise with CI/CD automation, Azure native tools, Google eCommerce platform. SAP s/4 Hana, and Confluence or a similar tool for artifacts visualization, workflows, and documentation. 
  • Determination. You are a natural leader with strong business acumen, and have an exceptional ability to bring together people and teams, influencing without authority to complete deliverables. You hold yourself to high standards of accountability, common sense, and ownership while thriving in an ambiguous environment.
  • Growth mindset. You are open to new ideas and processes and motivated to take on challenges. You have a genuine interest in introducing tools and technology. You can research and apply best practices and implement repeatable processes, drawing on past insights and sharing knowledge with your team.
  • A collaborative approach. You have an easy-going personality and a passion for delicious food. You have professional communication skills and the confidence to present to C-suite executives. You take a consultative approach to gaining the trust of team members and growing into a respected subject matter expert.. You respect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of others.
