As a Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will work closely with end users, business unit representatives, Information System resources and others in all stages of the project lifecycle including discovery, design, construction, transition, implementation, and support. Additionally, you will provide analysis as well as leadership for small initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the business management on the identification, prioritization and requirements of project backlog items. As the primary liaison between stakeholders and users, this individual should demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, communication, productivity and professionalism. In addition, the candidate will have the ability and aptitude for leadership, be self-motivated and possess strong analytical skills.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Builds and manages stakeholder relationships including business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members and management leaders.
  • Develops business analysis artifacts (use cases, business models, etc.) to document "as-is" and "to-be" requirements and change management plans as they pertain to specific projects and/or functional area.
  • Prioritizes requirements effectively based on appropriately identified factors and in conjunction with business stakeholders.
  • Organizes and synthesizes large amounts of information provided by stakeholders.
  • Ensures that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives and meet stakeholder needs
  • Interacts with technical team(s) to help translate functional specifications into technology solutions
  • Leads and participates in User Acceptance sessions for confirmation of requirements implementation prior to deployment
  • Identifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope.
  • Effectively manages changes and conflicts during requirements gathering process, get approval and design sign-off from the business.
  • Ensures appropriate stakeholders are involved and obtain required information for capturing and validating requirements and other artifacts.
  • In addition to the technology and systems training that will be provided, the incumbent will be required to stay abreast of new developments and initiatives in the field.
Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, IT, Operations Management, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • 3 years of experience as a WMS or TMS super user working on design and configuration
  • 3 years of experience as a WMS or TMS user or process engineer working in warehouse/logistics operations
  • Certification in Six Sigma and/or APICS is an asset
  • Knowledge of ERP-based material control systems
  • Ability to lead, communicate and manage effectively with logistics, distribution, operations, quality assurance and supply chain management.
  • Experience with issue management, such as maintaining, prioritizing and resolving project issue list.
  • Experience with scope management, such as organizing customer requirements, tracking status of project deliverables.
  • Excellent communicator, outstanding oral and written skills, including presentation are required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to influence and shape the decisions of stakeholders (including upper management) by communicating factual project/process related information based on analyses.
  • Curiosity and interest to learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and drive change.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation skills
