Position Summary 

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Tech team in Richmond, BC. As a Technical Assistant you will be responsible for supporting tech operations focused on our IT peripheral distribution including warehousing functions from offloading incoming shipments, processing inventory, moving inventory throughout the warehouse and other duties.

Responsibilities 

  • Support in preparing the computers and peripherals for shipment. (Preparation includes basic configuration and packing). 
  • Pick and process orders on multiples systems as required. 
  • Update the shipped items info on the system. 
  • Organizing and processing incoming warehouse inventory 
  • Verify documents for correctness on shipping and receiving documents 
  • Coordinate shipping with Mail room 
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the shipping area 
  • Moving skids into disposal, helping our drivers load or unload trucks (when needed) 

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Applicants must be organized and have the ability to multi-task 
  • Applicants should have good communications skills 
  • Basic computer user skills (Windows, Excel) an asset 
  • Ability to work under pressure and fast faced work environment. 
  • Ability to adapt to changes and to learn company policies quickly 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting or individually 
  • Ability to be accountable for a team and other departments 
  • Some warehouse experience preferred; but all are welcome to apply 
  • Contributes to Health and Safety 

  

Position Requirements 

  • Must be able to lift 60+ lbs. 
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)

Compensation and Benefits:   

  

  • In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $19 - $25 per hour 
  • Paid vacations   
  • Additional 5 personal days   
  • Paid sick days   
  • Extended Medical and Dental plan from day one
