Technical Lead- AEM Architect USA

At AFTIA our Senior Systems Architects work closely with clients, and team members to implement complex solutions that touch on a broad range of technologies. The ideal candidate for this role has a love of technology and is a natural problem solver who enjoys working and leading in a dynamic team atmosphere. The ideal candidate is very familiar with designing, developing, testing, implementing and training clients on complex technical solutions. You will have experience in developing solutions and technical architectures, developing and testing code, following best practices, and providing architectural guidance on AEM implementations to senior management and executives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and propose complex solution architectures across multiple technologies to clients and partners at the C-suite level, business user level and IT level
  • Act as the team lead on internal and client-facing projects
  • Identify the work (tasks and activities) necessary to implement the proposed solution architecture, and delegate work to internal, client and partner resources
  • When necessary, develop, test and implement code and technical configurations
  • Provide mentorship to team members and clients
  • Provide input to and guidance in the prioritization and estimating of product backlogs
  • Maintain focus on core solution requirements and prioritize solution features
  • Manage and control customer expectations by providing proactive support to our clients
  • Pilot new solutions, architectures, and processes across the Digital Marketing landscape

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Adobe\AWS products and services etc
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of ten years of professional experience in technical roles involving Adobe/AEM products and services
  • Proficient with AEM Forms (solution development, installation, configuration, forms development)
  • Proficient with Java development, OSGI, and Microservices
  • Strong Skills with web content management (WCM) platforms
  • Substantial experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS web languages
  • Significant experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, and JSONS data formats
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, and OData web services
  • Strong experience with LDAP, SAML, and OAuth authentication mechanisms
  • Notable architectural awareness and ability to create and review system topologies
  • Firm grasp of development best practices (CI/CD, TDD, Peer Review, IaC) and ability to enforce them
  • Strong leadership skills (ability to lead combined teams of internal, partner and client resources)
  • Strong consulting skills (work with various funded clients)
  • Considerable interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
  • Must have United States citizenship and live in the USA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration environment
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
  • This position may require occasional travel within the United States
