We are growing our HR team and looking for the next culture ambassador! You will report to the Head of HR and join the team with two more amazing teammates: a Talent Acquisition Specialist and a HR Admin. This will be a blended role so expect to spend 60% of your time with Training & Development initiatives and 40% with Employee Relations.
Training & Development responsibilities:
- Develop & implement high-impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.
- Establish strong partnerships with leadership to gain a strong understanding of current training needs and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
- Conduct organizational needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all employees have the required competencies to excel in their roles.
- Reviewing and revising course materials to ensure they are in line with operating processes, trends, and demand.
- Collate feedback from completed training to evaluate and measure results and make improvements where required.
- Develop, organize, conduct and evaluate training programs for lower - upper management teams
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Design and deliver e-learning courses, webinars and other team training
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
- Design and deliver structured learning experiences/onboarding sessions for new hires
- Develop programs that groom lower-level employees for executive positions
- Evaluate training effectiveness
Employee Relations responsibilities:
- Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations
- Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity
- Organize and conduct annual performance reviews in the company
- Provide ongoing support for employees
- Explore new ways to further-improve employee well-being
- Conduct exit interview and offboarding process
Who you are:
- Minimum of 4 years experience with Training and Development Initiatives and Employee Relations in an organization or consulting company.
- You have Prior experience in Learning & Development in organizations. Experience in delivering training is a strong plus
- Coaching certification
- You have a good knowledge of the latest Learning & Development trends & software
- You have good knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures
- You have excellent communication & presentation skills
- You feel comfortable working in a rapid growth changing agile environment
- You are able to manage processes while also executing and getting things done
- You know the value of training and development and how it contributes to a good employee experience
- You are able to build relationships across Vanhack’s Departments, including Success, Growth, Events, HR, Recruitment, Global Mobility, and Tech in order to improve skillsets
- You have a strong knowledge of training processes and procedures
- You have good budgeting skills
- You have good time management and organization skills
